Nubra, November 25 (Scoop News)- As part of the ongoing Mimang-si-rJabstogs initiative, a public outreach camp was successfully organized today at Tangyar village under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Diskit, Sh. Tufail Iqbal.
The camp was aimed at delivering various government services and welfare schemes directly to the doorstep of villagers.
ZEO Diskit, Ms. Sonam Dolker, delivered an informative address covering PM Poshan, Inclusive Education, transport and escort facilities, support for pre-primary education, sports and education initiatives, excursion fees, and women’s self-defence training. She also urged the public to increase the enrollment of students in Government Schools, emphasizing that all facilities are provided free of cost.
Block Veterinary Officer Diskit, Dr. Motup Angmo, spoke on the occasion about the National Animal Disease Control Programme, the importance of livestock tagging, deworming tablets, KCC loan facilities, subsidies for nomadic livestock herders, animal nutrition, and dairy farming support.
Manager J&K Bank Diskit, Mr. Tashi Motup, informed the public about PMJJY and SBY insurance schemes, land development loans, and the KCC facility.
BMO Diskit, Dr. Fantom, highlighted the importance of applying for the Golden Card and Vay Vandana Card, linking mobile numbers with Aadhaar, and taking flu vaccination. She encouraged villagers to take full advantage of all available health services.
Chief Inspector, Food and Civil Supplies, Mr. Mohd Toha, elaborated on the classification of different ration cards. Other representatives of various departments of the Diskit Sub-Division also participated actively in the programme, delivering detailed presentations on their respective departmental schemes and interacting with the public.
The Chairman appreciated the HoDs and officials of the Diskit Sub-Division for providing valuable information and services to the public. He informed the villagers that as per the initiative of the Deputy Commissioner Leh, administration is being provided directly at the doorstep of the villagers.
A significant number of villagers attended the camp and availed multiple government services, including the creation of 15 ABHA Health IDs, issuance of 5 Golden Cards, 15 Ladakh Residence Certificates, 6 Domicile Certificates, along with other essential services and welfare-related documentation.
