Jammu, October 13 (Scoop News)-BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu & Kashmir UT today conducted an important meeting at the BJP Headquarters, Jammu, under the leadership of Adv. Neha Mahajan, President BJP Mahila Morcha JKUT, to discuss initiatives under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
During the meeting, Adv. Neha Mahajan emphasized the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, who has consistently encouraged women to become self-reliant and contribute to the nation's growth. She stated that the spirit of Atmanirbharta begins at home and urged all members of the Mahila Morcha to promote and support local women entrepreneurs who are independently running their businesses, skill-based ventures, or small enterprises.
She said, “Women who create opportunities through their own efforts are the real strength of our society. It is our responsibility to recognize their work, encourage them, and provide them a platform to grow.”
Adv. Mahajan further highlighted that promoting such women aligns with the Vocal for Local vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, ensuring that the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat reaches every household.
The meeting also discussed ongoing programs and future action plans of the Mahila Morcha to expand awareness and support for women-led initiatives across all districts of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
Prominent Mahila Morcha office bearers and members participated in the meeting and assured their full commitment to carry forward this campaign of women empowerment and self-reliance.
