S. Tejinder Pal Singh Aman Criticizes BJP-Led Government for Neglecting Udhampur District

Udhampur, October 09 (Scoop News)- S. Tejinder Pal Singh, Provincial President Youth National Conference Jammu, strongly criticized the BJP-led government for its complete neglect of the Udhampur District. He was addressing a YNC workers meeting in Udhampur Urban which was organized by Rahil Aslam District President Udhampur Urban YNC. He was accompanied by Nitish Gowsami Provincial Vice President YNC, Zamir Quershi, Jugal Kishore Zonal President Udhampur Reasi Zone, Kartik Ghai, Amandeep Singh, Sheikh Fayaz. Mr. Aman also slammed the BJP-led administration for its indifference towards the affected families. He stated that no compensation or assistance has been provided so far, adding to the woes of the people of Udhampur. BJP MLA’s have failed to mitigate the problems of the people in Udhampur District.



Addressing a workers meeting at Udhampur, S. Tejinder Pal Singh expressed deep concern over the lack of development in the area and the absence of any relief package for the victims affected by recent floods, landslides, and cloudbursts. He said that despite repeated appeals and the critical condition of infrastructure in the region, including damaged roads and houses, the Centre has failed to take any concrete action.



Mr Aman appreciated the swift and people-centric response of the Omar Abdullah-led government in times of crisis. He said that the Chief Minister had on-the-spot announced relief from the CM’s Relief Fund for areas affected by natural calamities.



Mr Aman further highlighted that the Omar-led government took concrete steps to tackle unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir by launching various youth-centric schemes. These initiatives were aimed at empowering the youth through skill development, financial assistance, and employment generation programs, paving the way for a more secure and progressive future for the younger generation.



Meanwhile, Mr. Aman handed over the nomination letter to the newly nominated Rahil Aslam District President of Youth National Conference, Udhampur Urban. He expressed hope that the new leadership will work diligently to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He also directed the new District President to constitute the Youth National Conference committee for Udhampur Urban at the earliest.



Mr Nitish Gowsami Provincial Vice President YNC Jammu and Zamir Quershi reiterated the Youth National Conference's continued commitment to advocating for policies that uplift and empower the people of Jammu and Kashmir.



Among those who were present included: Sudesh Kumar, Ritak, Jaffy Mir, Sahil Lakhwir Singh, Rohit, Tarun, Sajjad, Om Parkash, Waseem and others.
