Srinagar, October 08 (Scoop News)- J&K Police have registered an FIR against a social media user for spreading false and misleading information on social media platforms.
Based, on a complaint received by Police Station Handwara, it came to notice that a Facebook post uploaded by Mohammad Yousuf contained false and fabricated allegations intended to malign the reputation of the setup and create public unrest in the area. Taking cognizance of the matter, a case vide FIR No. 232/2025 under Sections 353(1) and 353(2) of the Bharatiya NJ&K Police attaches immovable property of terror handler in Budgam
October 08: Continuing its sustained action against terror networks, their associates and handlers, J&K Police today attached property measuring 03 kanals and 19 marlas located at Dasan, Beerwah, after obtaining prior approval from the competent authority.
The property belonged to Fayaz Ahmad alias Gadda, who had exfiltrated to Pakistan and was found to be utilizing the said property for the promotion of terrorist activities in Kashmir. During the course of investigation, it surfaced that the said individual was attempting to alienate and sell the land, with the intention of using the sale proceeds to further support and finance terrorist activities.
Accordingly, sanction under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) was obtained in case FIR No. 56/2019 of Police Station Chadoora, leading to the formal attachment of the said property.
It is pertinent to mention that the said handler is currently based in Pakistan, and continues to be involved in anti-national activities from across the border.
