Srinagar, September 18 (Scoop News)-Continuing its community outreach efforts, Police in Handwara in coordination with religious scholars and Imams, organised a lecture at Darul Uloom Makkiya, Tarathpora on the themes of love for one’s country and deradicalization.
Speakers highlighted that true faith nurtures love and respect for one’s homeland, stressing that national peace and prosperity benefit all citizens alike. Safeguarding unity and integrity were underlined as both a civic responsibility and a religious obligation.
On the subject of deradicalization, participants cautioned against extremist ideologies and urged the youth to adopt moderation, brotherhood, and constructive roles in society. Emphasis was placed on education, discipline, and positive contributions as essential safeguards against radicalism.
The programme concluded with a collective message encouraging students and youth to channel their energies towards building a peaceful, progressive, and harmonious nation.
