Jammu, September 14 (Scoop News)-Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary, BJP & Prabhari J&K, Sat Sharma, President J&K BJP, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, Sunil Sharma, LoP (J&K Assembly), Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org), J&K BJP, Dr. Narinder Singh, MLA & BJP National Secretary, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha), and Baldev Singh Billawaria, General Secretary, inaugurated the workshop by lighting the traditional lamp.
J&K BJP State Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents, District Prabharis, District Presidents, and District Seh-Prabharis participated in the workshop.
Tarun Chugh, while addressing the workshop, said that Jammu & Kashmir along with other northern states of India has witnessed huge losses due to the incessant rains and subsequent flash floods, and also noted that the entire nation stands in solidarity with them, while the BJP leadership from other states has started pouring in relief material to J&K for the flood-affected areas. He asked the BJP cadre to understand the socio-political scenario of J&K in more depth to resolve the diverse issues faced by the people. He lambasted the other political parties for working for their own benefits and not for the nation. He said that Dr. Hedgewar stressed on building personalities with integrity and laid the strong foundation of the nationalist organization RSS, which later paved the way for the world’s largest political party, BJP. He added that the BJP believes in the core ideology of Nation First with all Indians as one family, which is why Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee laid down his life in J&K. He further said that all BJP leaders should work in accordance with the party’s strong ideological principles and feel proud representing an organization with more than 15 crore primary members.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the workshop, said that there should be complete synchronization among all party leaders at every level. He said that the workshop should serve the purpose of setting goals for all leaders with renewed energy. He added that party leaders should take inspiration from the lives of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, who laid down their lives for the nation and taught the world lessons like Integral Humanism. He also complimented J&K BJP for being at the forefront in helping flood-affected people and called for their efforts towards the achievement of Mission Viksit Bharat by 2047. He highlighted the transformation of J&K from the era of stone-pelting to a laptop-savvy generation.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that every Indian is strongly connected both politically and emotionally with J&K, and hence the responsibility of J&K BJP cadre is even greater. He asked all party leaders to be prepared to deliver to the people and to get to the roots of people’s issues by being good learners. He also stressed that since 2014, when Modi ji took oath as Prime Minister, there have been no regional discrepancies and every region is being developed equally. He said that once Congress mocked BJP for its low numbers in Parliament, but now as it stands exposed, it is on the verge of extinction.
Sunil Sharma, while addressing, laid out the overview of the workshop before the party leaders. He said that the task may be new but the nationalist goal remains the same for all leaders with new responsibilities. He asked everyone to serve their responsibilities with dedication, especially in the regionally and linguistically diverse J&K.
Ashok Koul provided a detailed insight into the organizational working while highlighting every office-bearer’s individual role and its importance in the organization and society. He called for personal connect during the Pravas by party leaders and asked them to work intensively to take the party ideology and public welfare schemes to the people.
Dr. Vikrant Sharma, RSS Prant Seh-Sanghchalak, spoke on Panch-Parivartan to strengthen the cultural and social fabric of India. He included the issues of social structure, family values, environment-friendly attitude, Make-in-India, and civic duties. He also spoke about various programmes to be organized in connection with the RSS centenary year celebrations, sharing the relevance of RSS’s work in strengthening the nation and society in a multi-faceted way.
Priya Sethi, Vice-President, spoke on the people-friendly reforms in GST. She said that this next-gen reform will give major relief to the people and boost their purchasing power.
Sanjita Dogra, General Secretary, spoke on the benefits of Atma Nirbhar Bharat and its relevance in strengthening the nation. She called for the greater use of Make-in-India products.
Gopal Mahajan, General Secretary, spoke on the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ to be observed from 17th September to 2nd October in connection with the celebration of Prime Minister’s Birthday.
Abhijeet Jasrotia, Spokesperson, and Dr. Makson Tickoo, Social Media Incharge, shared their views on putting forward the party’s vision before the people through the effective use of media and social media tools. Gourav Balgotra, IT Incharge, spoke about the relevance of IT in the modern era and Tilak Raj Gupta also shared his views.
An exhibition was also inaugurated at BJP headquarters by the party leadership. The workshop proceedings were conducted by General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, the vote of thanks was presented by General Secretary Anwar Khan, and the welcome note was delivered by District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia.
