Samba, September 11 (Scoop News)-BJP Jammu & Kashmir President Sat Sharma (CA) accompanied by senior BJP leader and MLA Chandra Prakash Ganga and other leaders inaugurated a medical camp for flood-affected families at Khara Madana in Vijaypur Assembly segment of District Samba. The camp was organized to provide timely medical assistance to the victims of the recent floods, where doctors, para-medical staff, and media personnel were also felicitated with appreciation letters for their dedicated service.
A public meeting was also organized in Uttarbehani. DDC Chairperson Kehsav Dutt Sharma, District President Asha Rani District President Asha Rani, DDC Shilpa Dubey, Jai Sharma, and other leaders, were also present on this occasion.
Later, Sat Sharma visited the flood-hit areas of Uttarbehani in Samba district to assess the situation on the ground. He interacted with the affected families, listened to their grievances, and assured them of early redressal of their problems.
On the occasion, dry ration packets and other essential supplies were distributed among the flood-affected families as part of BJP’s relief initiative.
While addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma said that the BJP stands shoulder to shoulder with the people in this hour of distress. He said that the party’s foremost duty is to provide immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation to those who have suffered due to the floods. He also assured all that the party is coordinating with other agencies in ensuring that no family remains neglected and that all necessary support reaches them at the earliest.
Chandra Prakash Ganga said that in this time of crisis, it is our responsibility to extend all possible help to our people. He said that the BJP cadre is working tirelessly to ensure that medical care, food, and shelter are provided to every family affected by the floods. He committed that the party cadre will continue to stand with the people until normalcy is fully restored.
Asha Rani also assured that the district unit of the party would maintain continuous coordination with local administration for smooth distribution of relief and rehabilitation measures.
