Jammu, June 20 (Scoop News)-Cultural Troupes/Artists awaiting for long pending payments who rendered their services in Cultural/Devotional Events organised by “Tourism Department Jammu”at Yatri Niwas, Bhagawati Nagar Jammu during the Amarnath Yatra June-July 2024.Jammu based 19 Cultural Troupes from Central Bureau of Communications,Jammu & more than 200 Artists including Singers/Musicians & Dancers performed in the events.
The Artists/Troupes claim that they haven’t received any payments from “Tourism department,Jammu” despite assurance that the payments would be cleared within 3 months of the Yatra conclusion.
The delay of payments is causing financial difficulties for all Artists & Cultural Troupes, Besides this the ongoing Shri Amarnath Yatra set to begin on from 3rd of July this year.
All the Artists Appeals to the Administration & Authorities for Immediate release of their long pending payments.It has more than a year not a single rupee has been released from the Tourism Department, Jammu.
