Awantipora, December 01 (Scoop News)- Under University’s Industry Connect Program, The Department of Mathematical Sciences, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) organized a program with Mr. Zainul Arfin, Deputy Manager (Analytics), JSW Energy Ltd., Mumbai.
The program titled ‘From Data to Decisions: Analytics Landscape in Industries’ was aimed to provide the trainees exposure to real-time industry challenges and opportunities in Data Science, Analytics, and Applied Statistics. Mr. Arfin emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making, emerging trends in analytics, and the growing role of mathematical and statistical tools in industrial growth and strategic development.
The program coordinated by Dr. Afaq Ahmad from Department of Mathematical Sciences, IUST witnessed active participation from the students of Data Science & Mathematical Sciences.
