Educated youth’s participation in politics pivotal for India’s progress: Priya Sethi

Jammu, August 17 (Scoop News)-Priya Sethi, National Executive Member BJP and former minister on Wednesday said that educated youth can play a significant role in steering India to new heights of development and progress by actively participating in the political arena of the country.
The former MLC Romesh Arora was Guest of honour of the function.
The senior BJP leader Priya Sethi was speaking as chief guest during a Youth Parliament held in Army Public School Damana.
Exhorting the young lot to think on the lines to lead the nation in the coming times, Priya Sethi said that the onus of country’s future lies on the shoulders of the educated youth and it is utmost necessary that they should be honed in a way that every step which they take in the coming times helps the country to become more stronger and competitive in the all fields.
The former minister said that the participation of youths in politics is crucial and parties like BJP which are democratic in real sense have lot to offer to the new generation to make a mark in the coming times. She said that the country’s youth inhibits in exercising his or her right of franchise which is not good because to make democracy work India must be a nation of participants and not simply the observers.
Priya Sethi maintained that the country desperately needs some young leaders who personify energy, enthusiasm, morality and diligence in Indian politics.
Former MLC Romesh Arora of BJP said that Government has given a reason to people to become part of politics as earlier the dynastic parties never gave chance to commoners to lead the country.
“BJP is the party which gives true reflection of democracy as it is the only party in which a common man can attain top position through dint of hard work and dedication”, he said, adding that youths should try hand in politics to help the nation to grow and progress by leaps and bounds.
Principal of the APS Domana Pushpinder Kaur while thanking all the guests present there added that
There is not an iota of doubt that the country has progressed a lot after independence but I think it is possible that the pace of development would have been completely different if some young torchbearers had led this development”.
