| Police arrests absconder in Kulgam | |
Srinagar, July 31 (Scoop News)-In continuation to stringent actions against absconders, Police have arrested an absconder in Kulgam who was evading his arrest for his involvement in case FIR No 180/2021 of Police Station Kulgam.
Acting on specific information regarding an absconder, a police party from Police Station Kulgam under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kulgam raided the specified location and arrested one accused person identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Khan son of Fayaz Ahmad Khan resident of Chattabal Kulgam. He has been shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
It is pertinent to mention that the said accused person was allegedly involved in kidnapping and sexually assaulting a girl in Chattabal Kulgam.
Future investigation of the case is in progress.
