BJP transformed from cadre-base to mass-based party: Priya Sethi

Jammu, July 29 (Scoop News)-There is hardly anyone in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir or for that matter in India who has not availed benefit from any of the numerous public welfare schemes launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government.
This was stated by senior BJP leader, BJP HQ Incharge & Former Minister Priya Sethi during an interaction with people in the locality adjacent to GGM Science College here on Thursday.
She said that the party has morphed from a strong cadre-based party to mass-based party influencing positively one and all in the country.
She said that though opposition parties’ leaders and activists are bound to criticize the government under their party’s compulsions but no one could challenge that each and every member of society is taking benefit from the bountiful schemes of the BJP government irrespective of party affiliations or any other distinction.
The former minister also visited a Ration depot in the vicinity and reviewed the ration distribution mechanism. She said that to extend help to the people of the country PM Narendra Modi has announced free ration for the people till Diwali festival.
Priya Sethi also said that during the first wave PM Modi provided ration to about 80 crore people enabling them to fight corona with more vigour and zeal. “BJP is the party of common masses and fulfilled its commitment by standing with the people during the corona crisis”, she said, adding that BJP activists provided all sorts of assistance to people affected by the coronavirus.
Later, former minister also listened to the problems being faced by the people of the area.
She assured them that all their issues would be looked into on priority and assured the same will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for early approvals and execution.
Vinay Gupta, District President BJP, said that every BJP leader in the Union Territory is bound to help people in need and there is no need to shirk while approaching BJP leadership in the region for any kind of grievances.
He said public service is the foremost priority of BJP workers and leaders therefore it will be matter of pride for BJP cadre that people visit them to seek help. He said that BJP is always on toes to help the countrymen and this is true in Jammu, Kashmir and across the nation without any twist or turn.
Vikram Randhwa, Secretary, BJP, J&K and Convener Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, said that BJP government has taken several reforms for the welfare of several communities as the party is committed to uplift all the underprivileged segments in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that government led by PM Modi has augmented many schemes for those who are financially weak to keep the promise made with the people. He said that BJP has strengthened the democracy due to which India has emerged as a strong entity in the entire world.
She was accompanied with State Co-convenor Hari Om, State Sec. Anju Dogra, Distt President Mahila Morcha Savita Anand, District Convenor PMGKY Rajesh Gupta, Mandal President Parveen Kerni, Rajesh Dogra, Sangeeta Anand, Sunil Prajapati, Anil Balgotra and others.
