Kavinder asks people to remain vigilant against divisive forces

Jammu, July 29 (Scoop News)- ‘BJP committed to overall development, securing rights of deprived lot’
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has reiterated the BJP’s commitment to overall development without any discrimination of caste, creed or colour besides securing the rights of the classes who had been deprived of even the basic rights till yesteryears. He stated this after meeting the leaders of Valmiki Samaj comprising Kewal Krishan, former Mayor Chandigarh from Balmiki Samaj and Jang Bhadur, President Akhil Bhartiya Valmiki Maha Sabha here today.
Expressing concern over the dangerous trend of resorting to politics of casteism by the opposition parties, the former Deputy Chief Minister asked the people to remain extraordinarily vigilant against the divisive forces working 24X7 to exploit the innocent people and divide the society to promote vote bank politics and their petty vested interests. He said that today there is a dire need to counter the elements involved in furthering such divisive agenda. He said that every citizen has a responsibility to preserve and strengthen democracy by constantly maintaining guard against such divisive forces which are trying to raise their heads across the nation. He asked the people to keep their faith in the working of Prime Minister Modi led government which is committed for the welfare of the masses.
Asserting that time has proved that BJP has succeeded in providing succour to the underprivileged sections, he said that the people of Valmiki Samaj in Jammu and Kashmir have now understood who are their true well wishers. It is the Bharatiya Janata Party that saw to it that justice is done to the people of Valmiki Samaj and consequently, as of today they are enjoying all their due rights which they had been deprived of in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Assuring the Valmiki Samaj leaders that BJP will leave no stone unturned in working for the progress and prosperity of their Samaj, Kavinder reiterated that BJP stands committed to the overall development of all communities irrespective of their caste, creed or colour.
Among others the member of Valmiki community who were present included Suresh Kumar President, Valmeki Samaj Nagrota; Bhagat Ram, President Resham Ghar Jammu; Vicky, President Bakshi Nagar; Rajesh Kumar, President Valmeki Sabha Belli Charana; Baba Joginder Singh; Sham Singh; Kamaljeet Singh, Mangat Ram, Jaswant Sahota and Ajay Sahota, President Valmiki Colony Dogra Hall Jammu.
