| Free Medical checkup by AIIMS, Ashoka Mission New Delhi concludes at Zanskar | | Kargil, July 28 (Scoop News)-Free Medical Camp organized by Ashoka Mission, New Delhi in collaboration with the super specialist and specialist doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) concluded at Zanskar here today.
Durring the period of free medical checkup, out of the total of 1594 patients who had registered 75 patients were diagnosed with Surgical Oncology.
Moreover, 133 patients were treated in Neuro Surgery, 550 patients treated for Medicine, 122 patients in Gynecology , 58 for Endocrinology, 136 Pediatric and around 520 were treated in Orthopedic related diseases.
Sub Divisonal Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar expressed gratitude to doctors from AIIMS and the General Secretary Ashoka Mission for conducting the free medical camp at Zanskar.
He urged the concerned to conduct such camps in future so as to provide necessary medical facilities for the patients of the Zanskar Sub Division.
