Jammu, May 02 (Scoop News)-As part of ongoing efforts to review battalion functioning, Sh. Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J& K, visited IRP 2nd Battalion Headquarters at Fatehpur, Rajouri.
The ADGP Armed was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour and accompanied by senior officers including Sh. Tajinder Singh, IPS, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range; Sh. Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG Armed Jammu; Sh. Rajinder Singh, SSP APCR Jammu; and others.
During the visit, the ADGP inspected various unit establishments including the administrative block, MT fleet, stores, barracks, and other infrastructure. He issued on-spot directions for renovation and beautification of the premises.
A mega darbar was also held, where personnel shared their service and welfare concerns. The ADGP assured timely redressal and issued necessary instructions.
Sh. Jain also visited C and E Companies stationed at Shadhra Sharief and DC Office Rajouri for a security review, directing officers to maintain high alertness in view of the prevailing security scenario.
Also present were Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar IPS,SSP Rajouri Sh.Nasir Ahmed SSP,Commandant IRP 2nd Bn.and other Officers.
