| 62 new positive cases, two deaths report in UT Ladakh | | 76 patients cured and discharged |
Leh (Ladakh), December 02 (Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 62 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 55 positive reports were received by CMO Leh and 07 positive reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 76 patients yesterday. Out of which 69 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 07 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With the report of death of two more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 119 with 77 in Leh and 42 in Kargil district.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 793; 681 in Leh district and 112 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 568 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 100 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post Monday.
