41 new cases, one death reports in UT Ladakh
22 recover and discharged
Leh (Ladakh), September 17(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 41 person were tested positive for Covid-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 25 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 16 positive reports.
With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 47; 20 in Leh and 27 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 22 patients from Leh district were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 971; 506 in Leh district and 465 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that out of 25 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 11 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 03 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat and 11 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab Chuchot.
While, out of 16 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 02 positive sample reports were
detected through True Nat and 14 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test.
Today CMO Kargil sent 49 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing.
319 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today.
