| Ladakh MP JTN sanctions of Rupees One Crore to fight against COVID-19 in Ladakh | | Donated his one-month salary of Rs. One lakh for the same cause |
Leh, March 28 (Scoop News)-In order to strengthen the ongoing fight against global epidemic of COVID-19 in every perspective MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal Sanctioned Rupees One Crore from his MPLADS for development of Purchase Immediate Medical Equipment’s for both Leh and Kargil District, and the young MP also donated his one month salary of Rs. One lakh for the same cause to PM National Relief Funds.
The funds will be utilized by the Deputy Commissioners of both the districts of Ladakh for Purchase of Laboratory Equipment for Establishment of Bio Safety Level-3 Testing Laboratory, Infra-Red Thermometers (Non-Contact) to facilitate Doctors, Nurses and Medical Staffs to remotely record and trek a person’s temperature, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including Face Masks, Gloves and Sanitizers Kits for the medical personnel to keep them well-protected and enable them to function efficiently by minimizing the risk of transmission, Thermal imaging scanners, cameras or CORONA Testing kits approved by MoHFW/ICMR for Airports of Leh, Kargil and Thoise and Manali-Leh and Srinagar-Leh Roads which allow detecting of temperature from a safe distance.
The fund will be further used to improve the ICU Ventilator and Isolation/Quarantine Wards within their approved facilities, Masks, Sanitizer Sprays and allied food materials for Police, Para Military, Bankers and all other officials on duty and other needy persons in Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency and Any other medical equipment recommended by MoHFW for COVID-19.
He further urged strongly to establish the BSL-3 Laboratory which is urgently needed and should be established in Ladakh on war footing basis please.
It is pertinent to mention that all the sections of the society has applauded the role of MP Ladakh in the present context during which he has played a vital role in the evacuation of the 577 stranded Muslim passengers from Iran, reaching up to the stranded student of Ladakh at various locations such as Dehradun, Jammu, Nagpur, Srinagar, Gujarat, Bengaluru and Chandigarh etc. and has delivered essential commodities for these students at their doorsteps. MP Ladakh has also arranged Lifesaving medicine and ambulance for some needy students and patients in these cities and has delivered the same at their place.
MP Ladakh is the leader who has brought the most needed RT-PCR Machines and other accessories for Ladakh to establish a Bio Safety Level – 2 Testing Laboratory in Ladakh and delivered Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and other medical related requirements to Ladakh.
During the last parliamentary session, Ladakh MP strongly raised the racial based attacking on mongolied faced people of Ladakh and Northeast issue in Parliament very effectively which made Union Home Ministry to issue necessary order immediately to ensure the safety of such citizens.
Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal has been coordinating between the Union Administration and various Ministries in Central Government very efficiently to deal with the COVID-19 situation in Ladakh. MP Ladakh has also donated his one month salary of Rs. One lakh to PM National Relief Fund of India to help the country to fight this deadly pandemic COVID-19.
