Rajouri ,July 19 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party leaders today said that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the centre led by prime minister Narendra Modi has given country a stable and transparent government that has not only transformed lives of millions of people but also won their trust. This is a victory of democracy over divisive forces who untill now were pushing India towards a point of no return.
Addressing a well attended meeting of thousands of workers organized by BJP Distt, President Dinesh Gupta here at Rajouri.
Welcoming Malik into party fold in Rajouri former dy.cm Kavinder Gupta,said that Congress and NC besides PDP like parties not only encouraged divisive forces but also ignored development. These parties never cared for welfare of people and always governed in most casual manner resulting in poor development.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta said that under the dynamic leadership of Narendra Modi the country's economy is back on track and world is recognizing potential of India in a big manner. He said that a strong defence system, improved communication system and better infrastructure is enabling India lead from the front which is why world bodies are looking forward to invest here thus generating employment as well strengthening our economy.
BJP General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi said that schemes like Ayushman Bharat scheme (World’s largest health insurance scheme), Swachh Bharat scheme (Open defecation free), ease of doing business, electricity reaching every village of the country and World’s prominent agencies recognizing that India is pulling its citizens out of poverty at a record pace are all aimed at building a strong nation.
Make in India, FDI, Startup India & Mudra Yojna where around 15,000 startups were recognized under the project, Jan Dhan Yojana & Ujjwal Yojna wherein 132 million accounts opened and ffordable healthcare are making citizens live an honorable life, Yudhvir Sethi added. He said the government had taken steps to reduce the prices of thousands of essential drugs.
MLC Vibodh Sharma appreciated push for Yoga, digital India With the number of internet users in India growing by leaps and bounds, the Modi government encouraged the growth by launching the Digital India programme and said that this has transformed lives of several lakhs youth.
Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma said that places of utmost importance like Buddha Amarnath, Shahadra Sharief and Nagali Sahib Gurdwara are symbol of unity. Roads here are not developed and tourism in this region that has Potential not tapped. But now the government is committed to social justice for all citizens, irrespective of religion, caste and gender

Iqbal Malik who joined along with other workers said that Implementation of GST because common prices for commodities all over the country have been fixed, Expansion of electricity and roads: Rural electrification gained momentum under the Modi government with a large number of villages getting connected to the electricity grid. Likewise, the speed of road construction has also increased.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik said 40km of new roads are constructed each day, which is more than double the number under the previous government (17 km). Several isolated areas in the country have now become accessible.
