JARRETT announced state wide protest call on 25th April
Delay tactics in transation process of teacher II ,unpaid salaries again forced teachers to come on roads: Farooq Tantra

Srinagar/Jammu April 21 (Scoop News)-Delay tactics in the transation processs from Rehabar- e -taleem teacher into teacher grade II and the non release of pending salaries despite of assurance from the administration forced teachers to again come on roads.

In a press release issued here Jammu Kashmir rehabar-e-taleem teachees forum(JKRETTF) has announced state wide protest call on 25 th of April to press their demands before the administration. This protest call was given by the forum in an executive meeting held at Srinagar in which all state district and zonal representatives of the forum participated.
During the meeting the state Chairman of the forum FA Tantary said that thousands of teachers including enhanced graduates, under graduates and unregularized rehabar-e-taleem teachers are still waiting for their transation into teacher grade II. He said that rehabar -e -taleem and head teachers are with out salaries from months .Tanrary said that the bills of three months of salaries are pending in state treasury and due to unknown reasons they were not released yet.
Forum chairman said that during the start of transation process into teacher grade II it was assured from the Department that there was no impact of code of conduct in this process and about 10 thousand orders of teacher grade II was issued to the graduate rehabar-e-taleem teachers at that time and the rest are still pending. He said that now they were asked to submit the bonafide certificates and there is effect of code of conduct and other delay tactics forced them to come on roads. He more said that in the recent meeting with Divisional commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmed Khan it was assured to the forum that all the issues regarding the transation process were stalled up to 15th of April and this process is still pending.
He said that teachers are in mental trauma due to financial and other problems releated to their service.He said that they were harrased now in the name of code of conduct and other unnecessary formalities.
During the meeting Tantray said that unknown reasons of delay tactics forced teachers to took to streets again.
Forum have announced the protest call on 25th of April in both the capitals of the state in press enclave Srinagar and at in press Club Jammu to press their demands before the state administration reads the statement.
