J&K BJP remembers Late Manohar Parrikar, pay rich tributes


Jammu, March 18 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir paid rich tributes to the Late Sh. Manohar Parrikar ji, former Defence Minister of India and 4 times Chief Minister of Goa at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina, Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, MLC Ashok Khajuria and former Minister Sat Sharma (CA) along with all the other senior leaders from state BJP paid rich tributes to the departed soul.
Ravinder Raina, while remembering the noble soul of Late Sh. Manohar Parrikar ji, who left for heavenly abode, said that the Bharat Mata has lost a truly devoted gentleman. He said that Parrikar ji was a true son of soil who served the mother Earth till his last breath even though he was suffering from chronic debilitating illness. Parrikar ji could be seen in action up till his last days, so much was his level of dedication towards his duties. Living on the principle of “Simple living and high thinking”, very few men can even think to achieve that mental level, Raina said and added that Parrikar ji will continue to live in our hearts, our memories for eternity.
Dr. Jatindra Singh, while paying tributes, remembered his contributions in the smooth and successful running of affairs in the government headed by PM Modi. Citing certain examples, he said that the loss of Parrikar ji has given birth to a void, which cannot be fulfilled.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while paying tributes, said that by his working, Parrikar ji has set certain standards, that should be the influencing the lives of a person living in public life. He said that his life history will act as a beacon for the coming generations.
Ashok Kaul, while paying tributes, threw light on the life history and works of Manohar Parrikar ji. He said that Parrikar ji lived a life of saint, untouched and unmoved by the world evils. His simplicity, clarity, clean image will continue to inspire us all, Kaul added.
