| DC Kargil suspends employees for unauthorized absence from duties | |
Kargil, March 16 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner Kargil placed 13 employees under suspension after they were found absent from their official duties without any authorization.
As per the official communiqué, Sub Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan on Friday conducted a surprise visit of various offices in Shakar Chiktan Sub Division including Public Health Centre Shargole. During the inspection, 13 employees of Public Health Centre Shargole were found absent from their duties without any authorization.
Taking a serious note of it, Deputy Commissioner Kargil immediately placed all the 13 employees under suspension and emphasized that such inspections will be conducted on routine basis to curtail the menace of absenteeism in Government offices especially in view of the upcoming General Elections.
The DC said that the District Administration has adopted zero tolerance against the dereliction of duties by employees and strict action under rules shall be initiated against those employees who are unauthorized found absent from duties.
