| Prem Sagar seeks immediate restoration of snow damaged infrastructure in Bani areas | |
Bani ,February 13 (Scoop News)- National Conference leader and former MLA Mr Prem Sagar Aziz on Wednesday urged the Governor’s Administration to take immediate measures for restoration of snow hit damaged infrastructure and ensure basic minimum necessities like essentials, power and drinking water supply in Bani constituency.
In a statement, Mr Aziz expressed concern over the lack of basic minimum necessities to the people and said the residents of Block Bani, Lohai-Lohar, Dugain and other areas were hugely suffering due to massive damages to infrastructure related to utility service resulting in erratic power and water supply. He referred to the dilapidated road condition and said normal activity has come to grinding halt due to communication breakdown and the supply of essentials stands adversely hit. He also called for replenishing ration stocks at various depots, particularly in the areas hugely hit by snowfall.
Mr Aziz urged the local administration for deputing teams of officers of various departments in the snow hit areas and ensure restoration of damaged infrastructure on immediate basis. He also sought preliminary survey of damages caused to the property and release of early relief to the sufferers.
