BJP deceived people for sake of power: Youth Congress


Jammu, February 13 (Scoop News)- Youth Congress, J&K on Wednesday intensified its ‘Chalo Panchayat Chalo Ward’ Abhiyaan at Village Kangar falling under the Raipur Domana Assembly and listened to the grievances of people falling under the Panchayats.
On the occasion, Jagdeep Goldy, IYC Secretary and In-charge J&K PYC; Uday Bhanu Chib, President Pradesh Youth Congress and Bhagat Ram, Block President Congress Paloura were the main speakers.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagdeep Goldy, IYC Secretary and In-charge J&K PYC Mir asserted that the aforesaid campaign was launched with an aim to get connected with the youths and farmers. He criticized the BJP led Government at the Centre for its failure to address the problems being faced by the people residing rural areas. He said that BJP has ditched the mandate of Jammu region and surrendered the aspirations of people who voted whole heartedly for seeking justice and equality in the State. He cautioned the people that BJP deceived the people for sake of power and now time has come to launch a decisive movement to end discrimination in education, employment, political and development sector.
Uday Bhanu Chib, President Pradesh Youth Congress, in his address, emphasized that only Congress can resolve the miseries of people of the State. He raised serious concern over the unemployment problem being faced by educated youth of Jammu region. He appealed to the people of the State to wholeheartedly support the ‘Chalo Panchayat Abhiyan’ to get justice and rights.
Bhagat Ram, Block President Congress, Paloura, lamented that no efforts were made to solve the problem of unemployment, casual workers, drinking water scarcity, irregular power supply, compensation to the border firing victims, etc. He said there is none to resolve the problems being faced by people of Raipur Domana.
“Congress is the only Party, which can fulfill the aspiration of the people of the State,” he said. Sandeep Sharma , Tarun Vaid , Sunil Chib and many others youth leaders were also present.
