12 students injured in explosion inside a school in Pulwama
Governor regrets unfortunate incident of explosion, Announces ex-gratia of Rs. 50,000

Srinagar, February 13 (Scoop News)- Twelve students were injured in explosion inside a school in Pulwama today.

Police said that on Thuresday at about 1430 hours some explosion took place inside the class room of standard 10 of a private school (tuition centre) known as Falai-e-Millat at Narbal in district Pulwama. In this incident as per the last report received 12 students have sustained injuries. They were rushed to the hospital and stated to be stable.
Police officers have reached at the spot and are ascertaining the nature and circumstances of the blast. Case has been registered and investigation is in progress.


Meanwhile JK Governor Satya Pal Malik has deeply regretted the unfortunate incident of an explosion at a school in Pulwama in which many students were injured.
Governor has prayed for speedy recovery of all the children and announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 50,000 for all those injured. He has directed the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to ensure best possible medical treatment to injured children.
