All Ladakh +2 Lecturers Forum Leh called on CEC JTN



Leh,January 16 (Scoop News)- All Ladakh +2 Lecturers Forum Leh today called on Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at Council Secretariat and seek his intervention in addressing their grievances.



The President All Ladakh +2 Lecturers Forum Leh Tsering Tundup on behalf of Lecturers congratulated CEC JTN for holding the seat of chairman LAHDC, Leh. The forum put forth demands including release of Lecturers transfer order in the first week of February 2019 before the general transfer of Master / Teachers in order to fulfill the shortage of Lecturers in Higher Secondary Schools with PG Maser /Teacher, so that no school will suffer due to unavailability of subject teachers.



The forum also requested for preparation of transfer according to the point wise /willingness proposal submitted duly signed by the concern lecturers through Forum. The Forum also requested CEC to stop the practice of transfer and adjustment directly through Director School Education or by any other means without having the notice of the LAHDC Leh. The Lecturers Forum also brought into the notice of surplus Lecturers in few subjects with double PG in different subjects which could be adjusted on need basis for best utilization of their services and requested CEC for consideration of medical cases and couple cases during transfer on genuine grounds only.



CEC JTN giving patient hearing to the demands of Lecturers Forum Leh reiterated that teaching profession is the noblest job aimed at to bringing positive changes in the society and Hill Council is fully committee to respect and acknowledge their services and assured to address their genuine demands on priority.



CEC JTN said that present Council will not tolerate politics over education at any cost and informed the delegation that to being transparency and accountability, Education Department Leh is coming up with its website shortly which will go a long way in streamlining the education sector. He requested teaching community to feel free to share their problems with him any time and invited valuable and innovative suggestions from them in improving the quality of education system in Leh.
