Bali Bhagat provides details of health projects initiated

Jammu, January 08 (Scoop News)-All the health projects initiated, will be completed, giving benefit to the common masses, stated Former Minister Bali Bhagat, while addressing the media persons, at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
While addressing the media, Bali Bhagat, said that he has worked with utmost dedication as a loyal soldier of BJP, while trying to serve the residents of state. Giving details on some of the projects for which the foundation stone has been laid, former Minister said that many health projects were approved under the aegis of Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP), with the approval from Ministry of Central Design Bureau, Government of India, under the guidance of PM Modi.
Bali Bhagat said that the foundation stone has been laid for the construction of bone and joint hospital, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu which has the project cost of 41 Crore Rupees out of which 16 crore has been released up to 18-19. Foundation stone has been laid for the construction of 100 bedded new emergency block at GMC with the cost approval of 11 Crore rupees, Jammu. Foundation stone for construction cum extension of labour room at SMGS hospital, with the cost of 12 crore reflected and approved. Foundation stone for Construction of 25 bedded SDH at Paddar, Atholi, Kishtwar with the 12 crore as estimated cost which has been approved till date and the tendering process for the same will be started soon.
Regarding Tertiary Care Cancer Centre, TCCC at district hospital, Kishtwar, State Government has submitted revised MoU to the Union Ministry on 11-12-2017. Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Radiological Safety Division, Government of India has already approved site and layout plan of Telecobalt facility on 13-04-2017 with all safety specifications promptly checked and approved and the same was conveyed to the Director Health Services, District Hospital, Kishtwar. It has also approved the installation of radiotherapy equipment at the site under case file no. JK-40990-INST with document number as 17-SLA-179272.
Bali Bhagat also told that as per the official correspondences with the Ministry of Health Family Welfare (NCD-II Section) in March 2018, the issues pointed out in the document are being worked upon on the priority basis. It is noteworthy that for initiating any project including infrastructure required for the health sector takes time required in the usual process as the same has to go through various Departments after the laying down of foundation stones for the same. And in normal process, the foundation stone is laid when work on any project is earmarked, in the usual process, after which the actual process of works begin, which takes its time according to the value, complexity enormity of the project.
