| Panchayati Raj Act have been amended to empower rural areas in real sense: Vibodh | |
Poonch, December 18 (Scoop News)- In order to discuss strategies on how to advance for upcoming parliamentary elections a meeting with Shakti Kendar Parmukhs of Poonch constituency was held. Senior BJP Leader Vibodh Gupta was present in the meeting who held an impressive discussion with the Shakti Kendar Parmukhs of Poonch constituency. Interacting with Shakti Kendar Parmukhs Vibodh appealed them to carry door to door campaign and highlight various achievements of BJP government. He said that it is the duty of party workers to bridge the gap between party and people and strengthen party at grass root level.
In the sideline of the meeting Vibodh also felicitated newly elected Sarpanches and Panches. He also extended warm wishes to them. MLC also appealed them to work on party's ideology and further BJP's slogan of "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas"
While addressing the gathering , MLC said that democracy has been strengthen in Jammu and Kashmir with successful local bodies election and election of young and dynamic Sarpanches and Panches. He said that center government under the competent leadership of Honourable PM Narendar Modi has kept its commitment to empower Sarpanches and Panches in J&K and Governor of the state Satya Pal Malik in his budget allocated a fund of 2573 core to Panchyati Raj Institutions. MLC told every Panchyat will get funds ranging from Rs 20 Lakh to Rs 1 crore depending on its areas and population to transform the developmental activities at the grassroots level. He said that now onus lies in the hands of Sarpanches and Panches to efficiently and wisely work for their respective areas and further Modi's cause of good governance and model villages.
Speaking on the occasion ,State Secretory Sunil Gupta appreciated center government for empowering Panchayati Raj Institutions in Jammu and Kashmir. He also interacted with Shakti Kendar Parmukhs. Prabhari Poonch district Rajinder Gupta alsp appealed Shakti Kendar Parmukhs to work hard and ensure massive victory of the party in upcoming elections. MLC Pardeep Sharma was also present on the occasion who discussed various strategies to strengthen party in Poonch constituency. Some other senior party leaders who attended the function were Capt. Bansi lal, Sardar Paramjeet Singh, Sardar Gurcharan Singh, Manjret Singh, Amerjot Kour, Sarpanch Manzoor, Sunil sharma, Rajan Sharma, Manjoor Hussain, Tazeem Akther, Mohd Sharief, Ab.
