| Tributes paid to former bureaucrat C.L Pandita | | 
Jammu,December 18 (Scoop News)- Rich tributes were paid to former bureaucrat Shri Chuni Lal Pandita who passed away on November 10,2018.
A condolence meeting was held in Jammu which was attended by some senior retrired officers.A two-minute silence was observed for peace to the departed soul.
On the occasion services of the former bureaucrat were highlighted which he rendered for J&K Goverment.
Participants remembered Mr Pandita as a noble human being and an able officer who significantly contributed a lot for the growth and betterment of the various government departments.
They said "we have heard with deep regret of the passing of C.L Pandita, former Agriian commissioner,JK Goverment. "As a public servant, in a distinguished career, he held the respect of members of the Government right across the political spectrum., "He was also a proud Leitrim man who never forgot his roots,''they said.
The meeting prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss
Mneanwhile former legislater from Uri described him as a good friend and gentleman.
He said, "In all of his work Mr Pandita was a consummate professional and a perfect gentleman. He has truly done this State good service.''
People from all walks of life from Leh and Kargil also paid glowing tribute to the qualities of the head and heart of “people's Officer” C.L Pandita who breathed his last at Jammu on November 10.They remember those days when Mr Pandita was SDM, Chisul, AC,Leh, and DC,Kargil.
Late Shri Pandita had served various important posts which include SDM Chisul (Ladakh), Hajipeer, Baramulla,AC Leh, DC Kargil, Director,Food Supplies. He retired as a Joint Commissioner Agrerian Reforms JK Government.
