| Anisha sparkles at glamorous event of Mrs.Universe-2018 | | secures 25th rank for India by showcasing rich cultural heritage of country to world |
Jammu, December 18, (Scoop News)-Competing with the participants from over 88 countries, Anisha Safaya, has confirmed the 25th rank for India by winning the title at Mrs. Aesthetic- 2018. She was also recently decorated with ‘Times of India Women Achievers Award 2018’ for her achievement in the social sector.
The dazzling event of Mrs. Universe- 2018 was held in the city of Cebu, Philippines last week where Anisha was representing the delicate yet fierce classy yet alluring Indian women. Her aim was to showcase the richest and cultural heritage of India to the world.
During her orientation, she chose to represent her native place, Jammu and Kashmir, where she was bred and born. She sparkled in a black pure crape silk gown with Kashmiri hand embroidery, adorned by handmade pure pearl jewelry.
Anisha’s national costume was a fusion of the lotus and the sun rays peaking across the snowflakes of the Himalayan mountain ranges while background showcased a blend of India’s royal elegance in subtlety. The design of the snowflake features pattern from the Kashmir’s hand woven carpets.
Expressing her thanks to her designers, trainers, mentors, her friends and family, she felt elated to represent her country at the event and also exhibit the rich heritage of India.
Daughter of the soil, Anisha was brought up by her mother, Usha Safaya, as a single parent. Besides being a mentor, her mother has been a great source of inspiration for Anisha.
She is one of the youngest vice president in an investment bank in London. Besides her day’s job, she is the founder of ‘Disha-The Multifaceted She’, an organization that works towards capacity building and economic empowerment of women in strife torn areas and conflict zones around the world.
She is married to Mitesh Solanki who has been supporting her hand in hand through her journey.... |
