| VC JU meets Governor | | 
Jammu, November 10 ((Scoop News)-Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Vice Chancellor Jammu University, met Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan here today. This was his first meeting with Governor after taking over as Vice-Chancellor of the University this year.
Prof. Dhar briefed Governor about various important academic and administrative matters relating to the functioning of the University and the initiatives taken in the past months, to maintain sustained focus on quality teaching and research activities.
Prof. Dhar informed Governor about establishment of the Technology Business Incubation Centre in the University to promote entrepreneurship among the youth and about the ongoing co-curricular activities in the University since October this year to celebrate Golden Jubilee year of the establishment of the University which will culminate with a big Golden Jubilee event in October 2019.
Governor emphasized strengthening capabilities of the University to make it a center of excellence in teaching, learning, research and extracurricular activities.
