Srinagar,September 19 (Scoop News)-Continuing its efforts to root out the menace of drugs, Anantnag police destroyed bhung cultivation spread on about 70 kanals of land in Bijbehara.
On the directions of SSP Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan, a joint team of police and security forces headed by SDPO Bijbehara along with officials of Excise and Revenue department, destroyed bhung spread on about 70 Kanals of land in Tulkhan Bijbehara and its adjoining areas.
The locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of police in curbing the menace of drugs in the area and have wished that the drive should continue in future also.
