DC Anantnag reviews progress under Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System

Anantnag, July 14, (Scoop News)-The Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik today convened a meeting of all sectoral and block officers of the district regarding guidelines issued for the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) of officers /officials in the individual departments.
The Deputy Commissioner through a power point presentation informed about the guidelines for installation of AEBAS and said on the occasion that every department can register and enroll their employees and their parent departments portal.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all the sectoral/Block level officers for registration of CPIS and preparing the list of all employees who are Aadhaar linked and also to submit the list of those employees yet not Aadhaar linked. He also directed that every sectoral/block level officer should ensure the installation of AEBAS. Each individual department can also get portal registered for itself by nominating a IT Person (Preferably District Officer himself or his nominated IT official having valid Aadhaar no.) and register his organization on attendance portal by emailing the on-boarding Application form available on attendance portal duly attested and signed by the Head of the organization to web registrar at [email protected] email address.
Earlier the DC chaired a meeting of Rural Development Department regarding sanitization and cleanness of villages he directed the BDOs to ensure transparency and punctuality in the offices. He also directed for preparing estimates upto Rs.40000/- for construction of 02 room toilet points 01 each for boys and girl students for 27 schools, 07 government buildings & 20 rented school buildings in the district.
The meeting among others was attended by ADDC, Anantnag, ADCs, SDMs of Kokernag, Dooru, Bijbehara, CEO Kokernag Development Authority, SEs of PDD, PHE, Exens of R&B, PHE, Flood Control, Irrigation, PDD, CMO, GM Industries, all Tehsildars, BDOs & other officers.
