| Govt working to meet aspirations of people: Sham Choudhary | | Jammu, January 14, (Scoop News)- Reiterating the commitment of Government to ameliorate the socio-economic conditions of people, the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary said that several people friendly schemes for the welfare of common masses have been launched in the State.
The Minister was speaking with the people participated in the public grievances redressal camp at R S Pura today.
The Minister said that the State government and the Union Government are working in tandem for the welfare and development of State, Saying that these are working to provide equal opportunity of development to every individual and region. He said that to attend the aspirations of public and to mitigate their problems, public reach out programme has been launched in the state, adding that good results of the initiative are visible on the ground.
“Every region of State is getting due share and every individual is being given equal opportunity of growth and development, he said and maintained that the government has taken up revolutionary steps to address the problems of common masses.”
Numerous deputations and individuals from Khushalpur, Gupar Basti, Badyal Brahmana, Agra Chak, Samaka, Khane Chak, Puropana, Shatriyan, Dewan garh, Biaspur, Bhojpur, Dablehar and adjoing areas attended the grievances redressal camp and flagged of developmental needs of their respective areas which include construction of lanes, drains, bridges and protection bandhs along local nallahs, installation of poles and transformers and blacktopping of link roads of the area .
The Minister addressed some cases telephonically contacted with the concerned authorities and issued written instructions in some cases for their redressal.
