| Cricket fever in the valley | |
Srinagar, November 18, (Scoop News)- In our country, cricket is not just a game but a way of life which runs through the veins of the youth. Kashmir valley is no different. Cricket connects the youth like nothing else does. It provides one of the best platforms to channelise the abundance of youth energy into constructive activities and prevents them from treading the wrong path. With this noble objective in view, Army organised a Cricket match for the local populace. The youth bubbling with energy and enthusiasm took great interest in the event.
The match was played between Army team and Wuyan team. Army team won the toss and elected to bat first. Wuyan team displaying great skills and calibre won the match by 5 wickets. An informal interaction was carried out over the refreshments.
This initiative by the Army provided a great opportunity for Army and Awaam to connect with each other and strengthen the bonhomie between the two.
