| Drug peddler arrested in Anantnag | |
Srinagar, November 17, (Scoop News)- Continuing its campaign "war against drugs " under the supervision of SSP Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan, Anantnag police arrested a drug peddler and recovered Charas from his possession.
Acting on a reliable information, a checking point was raised in the jurisdiction of Police station Bijbehara and one motorcyclist identified as Firdoos Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Jabbar Bhat resident of Katriting Bijbehara was intercepted.
During checking, 07 kilograms of Charas was seized from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR NO. 198/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered and investigation was taken up.
