JKTFZB & Humanity Welfare organizes stationary distribution function


Bijbehara, November 17, (Scoop News)- Jammu and Kashmir Teachers forum Zone Bijbehara(JKTFZB)in Collaboration with Humanity Welfare organisation HELPline Bijbehara organised a distribution of stationary items programme at GEMS public School Bijbehara. On the occassion Zonal education officer Bijbehara Abdul Gani Bhat was the chief Guest. Mohammad Afzal Baht, and Showkat Ahmad Beigh were the Guests of honor. Ziya UL Haq Nazmi presided over the function. Around 100 students from class 1st to 10th were given stationary set for starting new session class work.

Talking on the occasion Abdul Hamid Dar Zonal president education Zone Bijbehara put thrust on teachers that apart from teaching process a teacher should act as advocate, care taker and supporter in all respects for the students belonging to the poorest of poor classes. He requested teachers to be part of the collection programmes through bank accounts.

Ziya ul Haq Nazmi threw light on role of society, teachers and and trusts towards the students who loose parental support in early ages. He sensitized the teachers about the positive attitude towards the less privileged classes. He gave thrust on adoption of such students belonging to poor families who have lost the bread earners.

Mohammad Azal bhat provincial president JK teachers forum was of the view that we should not shrink the charity to zakat and other minute things but we should donate generously the loving belongings for development of the underprivileged children. There should be no show up for such charities but it should be through secrecy and proper mechanism.

Talking on the occasion Mr Showkat Ahmad Beigh District forum teachers association gave thrust on provision of moral education among the orphan children and the steps towards their self esteem. He said that society should share the experiences for the empowerment of students without parental care, Mr Beigh presented a cheque of Rs 5000 to the Zonal Presented Bijbehara to further expand such initiatives.

In his speech Zonal Education officer Me Abdul Gani Bhat appreciated the role of the teachers towards the care of children without parental care. He said that any body can be orphan but every orphan can be an educationist, a bureaucrat, doctor, an engineer, a lawyer, a journalist etc. But it is the education that can be helpful for all of them to come out of odd situations.

Javed Ahmad Tak co - organism of the programme gave vote of thanks. In his speech He thanked the orphan children for accepting the invitation and joining the programme. Mr Tak stressed on teachers that only monetary and stationary distribution is not enough. It is the time which can be gifted through remedial class, additional tutions after school timing. He categorically denied that after giving some stationary no body has time of pride but every body of us owe it the these special children who despite odds are showing best performance. He thanked all the guests but his special thanks were for the children who participated, volunteers who arranged all the materials for distribution and the teachers who donated from their salaries for the cause. Mr Tak announced rs 3000 for the further distribution in the account of the orphan charity.
Mr shabir Ahmad rather and Showkat Ahmad Ganie were given special regards for organising the programme.
