Cleanliness, a lifestyle: CRPF

Jammu, September 23, (Scoop News)- A cleanliness exercise was organized today by Central Reserve Police Force here at Govt. Middle School Majheen, Sidhra, Jammu. The program was organized by 166 Bn CRPF in cooperation with Govt. Middle School Majheen, Sidhra, Jammu. During the event, Shri Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant 166 Bn CRPF administered the pledge of cleanliness to all the personnel, including the school children, participating in the event. Shri Ashish Kumar Jha stressed upon the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our lives and described ‘Swachhta He Sewa’ as a pious drive for the development and healthy lifestyle of our society. He also encouraged the children to adopt cleanliness as a lifestyle and in turn convince others also to do the same with their deeds. Children participating in the program expressed their happiness and told that they have learnt a very valuable lesson of their life today and promised to adopt cleanliness as their lifestyle. Shri Ashish Kumar Jha also appealed the prominent persons of village Majheen to spread the message of swachhata across the villages vehemently.

Besides, Shri Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant166 Bn, Smt Nikhat, Principal of the School and Shri Alamdin Sarpanch Majheen, others who participated in the program were Shri Anil Kumar Second-in-Command 166 Bn, Shri Shakti Singh Second-in-Command, 166 Bn, Shri ADS Bal Deputy Commandant 166 Bn, Shri Santosh Kumar, Subedar Major, Shri Shiv Dayal Naib Sarpanch Majheen, Shri Chhajju Singh Nambardar Majheen and other personnel of the Force alongwith school children.All the personnel cleaned the school premises and its nearby areas and contributed towards the objective of ‘Swachhata He Sewa’ drive underway all over the country. The enthusiasm and commitment of the Force personnel as well as school children towards cleanliness and hygiene was clearly evident from the vigor with which they carried out the cleaning.

A ‘Swachhata rally’ was also carried out by CRPF personnel along with school children, school staff and villagers in the village and its nearby areas thereby giving a message to the public to inculcate the habit to keeping everything clean and hygienic in their surroundings.

Smt Nikhat, Principal of the school, appreciated the gesture of CRPF and thanked Shri Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant for organizing such a drive in the school and encouraging the school children towards the common cause of cleanliness.
