| Dy CM visits various power projects at Leh | | 'Ensure timely completion of projects' | Leh, August 21, (Scoop News)-Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today visited the several Power stations at Leh.
He was accompanied by Executive Councilor for Education, Dorjey Motup, EC Agriculture Tsering Wangdus, Chief Engineer Generation & M&RE Wing Ladakh Kuldeep Raina, Executive Engineer Project Division Tsewang Paljor, Executive Engineer M&RE Tundup Splazang and other concerned officers and officials.
At GIS Station Phyang, Dy CM visited the 220*66 KV plant and gave instructions to the concerned officers and engineers for its timely completion.
Dr. Singh, while visiting to the eco-friendly Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant at Leh, said projects like these would ensure safe and hygienic environment.
Dr. Singh also visited the PDD Distribution Station Leh and interacted with the employees and advised them to work towards giving uninterrupted power supply to the public.
At the Superintending Electric M&RE and PDD Office, Choglamsar EC Dorjey Motup raised some issues of the Power Department through a memorandum to the Dy. CM. Giving a patient hearing to the demands, Dr. Singh asked the concerned officers to prepare a proposal in collaboration with the Council about requirements of the Departments so that issues may be addressed at earliest.
