| Budha Amaranth Yatra: DC Poonch reviews arrangements at Dashnami Aakhara Mandir | |
Poonch, July 23, (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Ahmad Zargar, along with SSP Rajiv Kumar Panday and other concerned civil and police officers today visited Dashnami Aakhara Mandir and held meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for conduct of Budda Amarnathji Yatra.
The team of officers met with Chairman of Dashnami Aakhara trust Basant Ram ji and members to know about the status of preparation being made till date.
Pertinently, Dashnami Aakhara Mandir Poonch serves as the Base camp for yatries who arrive here from across the country for their onward journey towards shrine of Baba Buddha Amaranth situated thirty kilometres away from Poonch town.
DC took a detailed review of preparations made by the concerned departments at various sites of Dashnami Aakhara including lighting facilities, toilets, accommodation, medicare, sanitation, transportation, traffic management, etc.
DC asked the concerned departments to leave no stone unturned in making adequate arrangements and submit (ATR) action taken report on arrangements within two days.
DC also visited various important sites within the premises of Dashnami Aakhara like Langer sites etc.
Apart from police, civil administration the meeting was attended by civil society members from across the region.
