| Gandhi Global Family celebrates Eid-Ul-Fitr with Ghulam Nabi Azad | | Jammu, June 26, (Scoop News)- On the holy occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr, Gandhi Global Family celebrates Eid with GGF President Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi. On the occasion Azad Sahb expressed his heartfelt greetings with the people of India. In his message to GGF delegates, Azad explained that Eid-Ul-Fitr is a celebration of sacrifice for the common good, family and community, and compassion and solidarity with the people. Throughout the month of Ramazan the people of India have once again deepened the practice of their faith through fasting & reflection on the values of peace, harmony& cooperation, he said.
Padmashri S P Varma, Vice President Gandhi Global Family underlined that the country’s greatest strength lies in its diversity, religious tolerance, respect and in the celebration of vibrant traditions, cultures and festivals. Festivals like Eid-Ul-Fitr binds the community, which further protect us against religious divide.
