Governor, others greet people on Eid-ul-Fitr
Srinagar, June 25, (Scoop News)- Governor N. N. Vohra has conveyed warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a message of felicitations, the Governor expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmarks of J&K’s glorious pluralistic traditions.
The Governor prayed for the progress and well-being of the people of the State.

The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today conveyed greetings to the people of State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his felicitation message, Dr Singh hoped that the Eid ul Fitr would be the harbingers of peace, progress and prosperity for the State and its people.
Dr Singh said that the Jammu and Kashmir is an abode of peace and tranquility where the people of different faiths live together since centuries in harmony and mutual brotherhood and such holy occasions further strengthen the bonds of love and amity among different communities.
Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali today greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Eid-ul- Fitr.
Chairman hoped that the auspicious occasion will strengthen communal harmony, brotherhood and prosperity among people of the State.

Speaker Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, wishing them well-being and prosperity.
In his message of felicitations on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, Kavinder Gupta reminded the people about the essence of the festival, especially remembering the poor and needy and sharing happiness with them.
He expressed hope that this holy occasion will strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and bring peace, prosperity and well-being to the State and the people all over the world.

Minister for Information and Food, Civil Supplies, & Consumer Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his felicitations message, the Minister expressed the hope that the festival would be the harbinger of sustained peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmarks of the State’s pluralistic ethos.
The Minister also prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.

The Council of Ministers has extended greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Ministers which include Minister for Revenue, Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation & Reconstruction and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq, Minister for Finance, Labour & Employment Dr Haseeb Drabu, Minister for Public Works Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Chaudhary Lal Singh, Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports Imran Raza Ansari, Minister for Agriculture Production Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Trainings and Science & Technology Sajad Gani Lone, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Gani Kohli, Minister for Education Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat, Minister for Cooperatives and Ladakh Affairs Chering Dorjay, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Chaudhary and Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga, in a joint message of felicitation have greeted people on the auspicious festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. They hoped that the occasion would be harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity and would cement the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Transport, Sunil Sharma, Minister of State for Animal & Sheep Husbandry Mir Zahoor Ahmad, Minister of State for Finance, Ajay Nanda, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Priya Sethi and Minister of State for Health & Medical Education Asiea Naqash also extended Eid greetings to people of the state. They also hoped that the festival of Eid would be a harbinger of communal harmony, peace and tranquility in the state.

Advisor to the Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo today extended his felicitations to people of the State on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In felicitation message, Prof Mattoo said that observance of Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of fasting. He hoped that the festival would usher a new era of peace and prosperity and would also strengthen the age old bonds of mutual brotherhood and communal harmony in the State.
Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today felicitated the people of the State on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his felicitation message, Syed Andrabi wished peace, progress and prosperity of the State and betterment to the people.




Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh today extended warm greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
While complimenting the people, the Minister hoped that the festival would herald a new era of peace, progress and prosperity in the state. "Such occasions strengthen the bond of unity and brotherhood among the people irrespective of caste, creed and color", he asserted.
