BJP remembers Dr. Shyama Parsad Mukherjee

Jammu, June 25, (Scoop News)- BJP State Gen Sec (Org.) Ashok koul paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Shyama Parsad Mukherjee at Pouni, Reasi along with State Secretary Rajinder Sharma and District President Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey.
Ashok Koul, while paying his tributes to the great ideologue, said that the name of Dr. Mukherjee stands written with golden words in the history of State of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Dr. Mukherjee dedicated his whole life for fighting against the injustice. He said that Dr. Mukherjee laid the foundation of Bharatiya Jan Sangh when he felt that the policies of Congress were not good for the country and in the present times his sapling has grown into a mature fruitful tree in the face of Bharatiya Janata Party which is today the largest party of the world in terms of primary membership. He also said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir owe a lot to Dr. Mukherjee as due to his sacrifice only practical unification of Jammu and Kashmir was done with the Union of India. He also claimed that BJP will always follow the policy of "Nation First".
Rajinder Sharma, while paying his tributes, threw light on the life history of Dr. Mukherjee and said that he was a great Statesman, Academician and Barrister. He was the youngest Vice- Chancellor of Calcutta University and a great visionary. Dr. Mukherjee served as a Minister in the first cabinet of then Prime Minister Pt. Nehru but soon had to lay foundation of a new Nationalist Party for the sake of Country and Countrymen.
Kuldeep Raj Dubey also paid his tributes to the great personality and said that we all need to follow his footsteps. The persona of Dr. Mukherjee is unmatched, who live and walked on Earth like a true saint, for whom all the worldly leisures were meaningless.
BJP leaders Sheel Magotra, Romesh Sharma, Pawan Dev Singh, Karuna Nidhi, Satpal, Joginder Singh, Kavi Raj and Balkrishan along with other activists were among the important personalities who paid their tributes to Dr. Mukherjee.
