| Mehbooba Mufti meets Modi, Rajnath Singh | | 
New Delhi, April 24, (Scoop News)-J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday in New Delhi.
Mehbooba briefed PM on the prevailing situation in the state and the way forward. Mehbooba appealed to the Prime Minister to take steps for the welfare of the state.
They also discussed the recent incidents of stone pelting and the low voter turnout in the by poll.
Mehbooba Mufti also said that the situation in the Valley needs to be brought under control before any talks are held. She said youth in the valley were being provoked by anti-social elements and that is why they are resorting to stone pelting.
She also met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various issues, particularly on security situation in the state.
