| Army Public School lifts trophy, trounces rival Udhampur Football Club by two goals in finals | |
Udhampur, March 23, (Scoop News)-Army Public School (APS)- Udhampur on Wednesday defeated their rival Udhamur football club in the finals of Udhampur – Reasi range football tournament by margin of 4-2.
The final was played at the multipurpose sports stadium at Katra.
Ajay Nanda, minister of state for finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and parliamentary affairs, CA & PD, Tribal affairs, Relief and rehabilitation and labour and employment was the chief guest during the final of the football tournament.
The other prominent dignitaries present on the occasion were Virinder Sharma DIG, Udhampur – Reasi range, Dr Shalindra Mishra, SSP Udhampur, MK Kumar additional CEO SMVDSB, Tahir Bhat SSP Reasi, and others.
The Principal of APS Udhampur, Mr Sanjeev Kumar congratulated his winning team and also the team manager and coach – Mr Gurmeet Singh. He praised the team’s sincere efforts and enthusiasm because of which they won.
