Common people suffer due to mess in PDS | bonafide citizens deprived of ration facility in JK: Sharma |
Jammu, March 23, (Scoop News)-JKPCC has demanded a high level probe into the ineligible and fraudulent ration card holders, whose number has stated to be around 2.5 lacs in the State.
Expressing serious concern over the fraudulent and ineligible ration card holders to the tune of 2.5 lacs has stated by the head of the state during consumer day address, who had got these detected during Governor’s rule last year.
JKPCC spokesman, Ravinder Sharma sought details from the government as to what action was taken over this fraud as a result the genuine and bonafide citizens are deprived of the ration facility in the State.
He said that common people are suffering due to mess in the PDS in the state and unprecedented hike in the prices of all commodities of daily use and unreasonable hike in the rates of ration (Rise and Atta) by the government besides reducing scale of sugar quota.
The poor and common men is dependent on the government supply but for the past two year or so, they are pressed by the failure of the government, Sharma added.
However, he said the government department is very prompt and smart in the publicity activities in the media and least bothered to address the ground situation, which is worst in this front of delivery. ... |
