| Several deputations meet Chief Minister | |  Jammu, December 08, (Scoop News)-Several deputations met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and apprised her of their demands and problems.
The deputationists sought Chief Minister’s intervention in redressal of their grievances.
The deputations which met the Chief Minister included representatives of Toll Contractors Association, Management of Presentation Convent School, KPS officers delegation, newly selected NHM nurses, Self Help Group of engineers, engineers from J&K employed in Konkan Railways, Other Backward Classes besides a deputation from Wachi.
A deputation of State Gurdawara Prabhandak Committee sought appointment of more Punjabi teachers in schools and more job opportunities to the members of Sikh community.
The Chief Minister listened to the demands of the deputations and assured them that appropriate action would be taken on the issues raised by them.
