| Army schools - epitome of excellence; of trust too | |
Pahalgam, September 29, (Scoop News)-At a time, when most schools in Kashmir have remained closed due to the veiled threats of the inimical forces, the Army schools have emerged as a beacon of hope and promise. Ever committed to the people of Kashmir, the Army has made concerted efforts to ensure that their children’s education did not suffer even in these times.
Army Goodwill Public School Pahalgam is one such school, diligently shaping futures. It has remained steadfast on its academic course with due emphasis on timely completion of curriculum as per the CBSE guidelines and not let the students lose focus.
Back from Eid-ul-Zuha holidays, the children have cheerfully rejoined the school which reopened on 19 Sep 16. “This is also an expression of explicit trust and faith that the parents and students have reposed in the Army and we assure the people that this trust and faith will never be failed”, said an Army officer responsible for the management of the school. Mother of one of the students expressed her hope that the other. Children of Kashmir could also return to schools just as her own child was able to. “This lost time will never come back for these children and will affect the rest of their lives”, another mother said.
The Army has been reaching out to the people impressing upon them to help restore peace and calm and insist on the schools to reopen so the children's futures are not spoilt.
