| Asiea discusses modalities for widening of Hazratbal-Buchpora road | | Srinagar, August 29 (Scoop News)- Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development, Social Welfare and Health & Medical Education, Ms. Asiea Naqash today chaired a meeting of officers of concerned departments to discuss the modalities for widening of Hazratbal-Buchpora road here today.
District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone, Chief Engineer R&B, Kashmir, besides other senior officers of concerned department attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the issues of land acquisition for the purpose and rehabilitation of inhabitants to be affected due to road widening were discussed threadbare.
The Minister stressed upon the concerned for completing the requisite formalities and removing the bottlenecks with the consultation of all stakeholders so that the project could be taken into hand and completed within stipulated time frame. She also called for submission of comprehensive report in this regard within shortest possible time.
Earlier, the concerned presented lay-out plan of widening of Hazratbal-Buchpora road.
The Minister also asked the concerned for taking measures to the keep the Hazratbal Shrine premises neat and clean.
