| PDD appeals consumers to avail Amnesty scheme | |
Jammu, August 29 (Scoop News)- The Power Development Department (PDD) has appealed all domestic consumers to avail Amnesty Scheme for paying pending power bills.
As per Executive Engineer M&RE Division-1, Jammu the AMNESTY Scheme for electricity consumers issued vide Govt. Order No. 173-PDD of 2015 dated 21.08.2015 and has been extended upto 31st December, 2016 vide Govt. Order No. 101-PDD of 2016 dated 30.6.2016.
Under the amnesty 100% surcharge outstanding electricity dues as on 01.08.2015 have been waived off on domestic consumers provided they make the outstanding payment by or before 31.12.2016 in maximum of four equal installments.
